Intro to Experiential & Horse Powered Reading Instruction
April 20th - May11 th 2017
Meet online for 4 Thursdays, 1:00PM -3:00 PM, (USA Central Time)
This course will introduce the basic principles of Experiential Reading Strategies for the classroom as well as the Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) program - Horse Powered Reading (HPR). HPR can be incorporated into your existing EAGALA model EAL/EAP program or school programing.
This course includes two assignment tracks, one for EAL practitioners and one for classroom teachers. Both will learn activities for experiential reading instruction to help struggling readers. This is a great way to partner with local educators and help them learn about the benefits of EAL.
Participants will earn 16 CEUs toward EAGALA renewal and MN teachers can earn 16 hours toward relicensure.
Registration is limited to 8 participants.
Your $300.00 registration fee includes HPR curriculum!
